BEHIND THE CUP

About

Gabriel Castaño built something remarkable on two hectares in Acevedo, Huila. After leaving coca production in the 1980s, he dedicated himself to coffee. Planting Pink Bourbon when few knew what it was and refined it into something exceptional.

When Gabriel passed last year, his son Jefferson stepped in to carry the legacy forward. This washed anaerobic lot is Jefferson's work, and we're fortunate to partner with producers like the Castaño family who pioneered quality coffee in a region once known for something very different. Their dedication speaks for itself.
